Eliza Claire...
I will never figure this girl out!!! I can get her all dressed in a cute outfit, make sure she has a clean face, hair done perfectly and she won't pose for a single picture for more than a second but if she is looking like a rag-a-muffin with a dirty face and it looks like her hair hasn't been brushed all day then sure she'll pose like crazy!! What's the deal??? She even asked me to take these pictures. She wanted one of her eating her ice cream, drinking her water, smiling pretty, showing how old she is, the list goes on. Oh well, she is so stinkin' cute I guess I'll take pictures any way I can get them. Hope you enjoy, we sure had fun together taking them!
Our Rock Stars in the making!
Today was Gage and Max's first day of music lessons and they both loved it! They can't wait to go back. I hope they stick with this. I think it will be great for them. Gage even came home and studied the paper the guitar instructor gave him to learn all of the notes. Wow, now that's crazy! Gage studying without being told to, he must love it! They were both really excited, it was cute. Eliza wanted to know why she didn't get to start her "swimmer" lessons if the boys were starting their lessons. She is so funny. She asked this because whenever they pretend they are in a band, Max always plays the drums, Gage is the singer/guitarist and Eliza is the dancer but she does this swimming sort of dance and that is what she calls herself. She always says "and I'll be the swimmer". It's pretty funny to watch the three of them in action.

HOORAY, Sunshine!!
We had such a beautiful, sunny day today! I was so happy to see the sun shining. We have had snow storm after snow storm lately that (and I never thought I would say this but...) I am sick of the snow!!! Blake would say that is blasphemous, but I really am. He is loving it and skiing at least once a week but me, I am ready for spring and even summer. It has been snowing so much that it never has time to melt. The bright side of it is that we have seen tons of deer in our neighborhood. I guess they are coming down to find food. We love to see them, the kids think it is great. One day we counted 11 doe and two 4 point bucks in our neighbors yard, WOW! Hope all of you are enjoying winter more than I am. Just a couple more months to go!

Max had his addenoids out today and did amazing!!! He was such a little trooper! The surgery center was really great with him and they gave him a little stuffed bear that said "My operation was bearable!" After they took out his IV they washed it out and put it on the same arm of the bear that it was on Max's so he could take it to school for show and tell. He thought it was pretty cool. He couldn't wait to show Gage, Lize and Blake. For me, it was really weird to help my own child into a hospital gown and see him with an IV in his arm and waiting patiently to see him post op. He made it easy though because he was so brave about the whole thing! I am so proud of him!

Blake is another year older!!
Happy Birthday to Blake....It is actually tomorrow but we took him out to dinner tonight to celebrate. Max is having his addenoids out tomorrow so we went out for Blake's birthday dinner tonight just in case Max isn't feeling well. We went to Thaifoon at the Gateway. If you haven't been there before and you live in/or visit Salt Lake, you've gotta try it!! We love it. Our kids even have things they like to eat there, now that's impressive!
Not much else has been going on. The boys ice skating lessons have ended and they decided they didn't want to sign up again because now they want to take guitar (Gage) and drum (Max) lessons. Can you imagine the headaches I will have??? Oh well, kids who take some sort of music lessons are supposed to end up smarter and more successful. As if they need any help, just kidding, just being a proud mom!
