Eliza finished her first year of preschool! They did a little program at a park and she looked adorable! The only unfortunate thing was that it was very cold outside that day and as I mentioned it was at a park so we were outside. Luckily for her she has a very prepared mom (or lazy one who doesn't clean out her car!) and I had a big blanket in there that she was able to cover up with. Here are a few pics of her:

It was very fun to see her finish her first year of preschool and to see how much she has grown but also very sad. She is our baby, just not so much of a baby anymore. I love that my kids are becoming so independent and we can plan fun vacations, go out to dinner or the movies and know that our outings will finally be more fun than work but it is sooo bittersweet for me. I don't want them to grow up, I wish they could stay just as they are now forever! I love them like crazy!!!
Then Eliza had her 1st gymnastics show. She was so excited to have Blake be able to come and see all of the things she has learned to do. It wasn't like a dance show is though, there weren't fancy costumes or make-up, just her doing her thing.

The last days of school were coming to an end and the boys had their field day at school. I always remember loving field day as a kid. I think they love it too! They love for me to come and watch them and take their pictures and I love to do it. I love to see them having so much fun with their friends, without a care in the world! Oh to be a kid again.
On June 13th and 14th Gage had his very first Cub Scout Day Camp. I am his den leader so I was able to go with him both days. He had a great time, passed off lots of achievements and electives and even earned a few belt loops while he was at it! He liked the archery and bb gun parts the best, and oh yeah the souvenir shack where he was very sweet and even asked to pick something out for Blake, Max and Eliza. He can't wait for next year!
Max lost yet another tooth! I am starting to think he is pulling them out just so that he can add another $5 to his wallet! He counts up his money and then if he has a tooth that is even the slightest bit wiggly he wiggles away at it mentioning the $5he's going to get from the tooth fairy for it. He has a friend who gets to go pick out a toy and also gets visited from the tooth fairy every time he loses a tooth so Max tried to strike up that deal with me but I drew the line at that one. I think the tooth fairy is generous enough! Anyways, it was his other top front tooth so now he really can (and does) say all he wants for Christmas is his two front teeth. He's a silly kid! I just love and adore him so much!
This brings us to the 4th of July! We love the 4th, for us it means fireworks, parades, bbq's, and Blake's sister and her family coming to visit from Texas. On the 3rd of July the golf course by our house has a big party and sets off some good fireworks so we invited Blake's family over to watch them and have dinner. In the past we have actually gone over to the golf course and hung out there but this year we decided to stay home and watch them from our deck and WOW it was perfect!! We had a perfect view and we didn't even have to fight traffic afterwards! If were still here next year we will definitely do it again. The 4th started with us going to Kaysville for a parade. We met up with my friend Heather and her family there and had a great time! The kids got a TON of candy which they were happy about and then at the end of the parade water trucks, fire engines and people in their trucks and trailers go by squirting everyone with water. You can get seriously soaked!! The kids really enjoyed it. Lize got a little tired by the end but it was fun. Then we went over to Blake's mom's house where the rest of his family was just hanging out and getting ready to BBQ. We ate and set off fireworks and just enjoyed being with family.
