Last night was Gage's first Pinewood Derby. He came home a little disappointed because he didn't make it into the finals but only 5 out of 15 boys did. The Cubmaster made little trophy stands for all of the boys and Gage got the shiniest paint job award. This was a great award for him because before the car even had it's first coat of paint he said he wanted a shiny paint job. Gage and Blake put a lot of work into the car and had fun together doing it. Overall, this was a great experience and we're looking forward to next year. Blake already has some plans in the works!
