Eliza's 6th Birthday

Our sweet little darling turned 6 today! I can't believe that our baby is no longer a baby. My how times flies! We all love Eliza dearly and are soooo grateful that she is a part of our family. We love how sweet and cuddly she is and how playful she is. She is very witty for a five, now six, year old girl and also has a whole lot of sass, but we even love that! We love her big beautiful eyes that Blake likes to tease her might fall out when she opens them as wide as she can and we love her great smile. We love her laugh and the sound of her sweet little voice. She is so fun and smart and loving and we are so lucky that she is ours! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE you LiLi!!

We had already celebrated her birthday earlier in the summer with her friends, but we still wanted to have a party with Grandma, Aunt Tanya, Tati and Shay so we drove home from Wilmington on her birthday so that we could get home and have a party. When we got home, we let her open her gifts and then for dinner she of course chose McD's - there was never a doubt in my mind that she would choose anything but that. When we got home we had pink cake, no doubts about that one either!!

If this isn't the face of a girl who is excited, I don't know what is....

She loves Zhu Zhu pets!

Sweet cousins! Wish these two could spend more time together. They often didn't get along so well on this trip, but the moments like this definitely made up for it.
Giving out "Thank You" hugs. Thanks G'ma and Aunt Tanya for all of the fun, nice gifts.

My handsome guys....

Typical siblings, right?!
Daddy lovin' on his sweet girl! If only he could keep her this small, he definitely would!
Pretty happy about getting a Littlest Pet Shop toy in her Happy Meal...
I LOVE this girl, she is sooooo CUTE!! The only bad thing about me being in school is that she won't let me do her hair anymore!! It always looks like this.....
Ahhhh, there's my other handsome guy!
Cake Time....

Another day at the beach.....

The next day of our trip we went with everyone to Carolina Beach and spent the whole day there. Some of us stayed in the sun a little too long, mainly Tanya and I, but we had a great day nonetheless!

We look tiny, but this is me, Blake and the boys playing out in the ocean together, having a blast!

Grandma Jan and Eliza were playing in the water together and wave came and knocked them both over! They were both good sports and had a good laugh over it.
Love these pics of Lizey and Grandma Jan. She's definitely a grandma lovin' kind of girl!

Building sandcastles....
All my boys burying Eliza in the sand.....

Max LOVES the ocean!

Time to bury Gage. He was laughing sooooo hard, it was hilarious and cracking us up!

Then a big wave came up and splashed him right in the face and we all laughed even harder, including him!!

More Visitors ~ YAY!!

So a week and a half after Keith and Bobbie left to go back to Utah, Jan and Tanya and her girls came to visit!! How on earth I was ever able to work out all of the time off with all of them I will never know, but YAY me for making it happen because we had a BLAST!!

So we started by picking Jan and Tan up at the Raleigh airport and headed over to the Raleigh Temple for a few photos. We had lunch at Cici's and then headed to Wilmington for some beach time. It was already starting to get late, but we couldn't wait ~ we headed to the beach. None of the kids were in swimsuits, but since when has that ever stopped them from getting in the water?? NEVER! This time was no exception of course! We didn't even try to stop them, the excitement they were projecting was contagious and they were having such a blast together!! Cousins who haven't seen each other in over a year having a SUPER time together ~ can't mess with that!!!

This was our first time meeting Shay-Shay and let me tell you that it is an understatement when I say that the kids fought the whole time, WHOLE TIME, about who was going to hold her, sit by her, play with her. She is soooo adorable and we all just loved her!!
